Overnight Retreat in October

We are preparing to have our first overnight retreat starting October 20th. This will be a two day retreat starting at 9 am on Saturday October 20th and finishing at 4 pm on Sunday 21st. It will be combined with a Day of Mindfulness. People can come for only the DOM at 9 am on Saturday, October 20th and depart at 5 pm. Others will continue the retreat until Sunday, 4 pm. Those spending the night will need to register due to limited amount of beds. Personal bedding like a sleeping bags and sheets and pillow cases must be brought. We should have enough pillows and blankets on hand.
Please note: We will not be serving any evening meal. we encourage people staying overnight to follow the monastic rule of not eating food after the noon meal. However, if you have a need to eat something for low blood sugar or to facilitate taking medication it is OK. You can bring some simple food that does not require any cooking, like granola bar, chocolate, fruit or mix protein powder into evening tea/juice/drink etc.
We will begin registration on October 8th; details to be sent out later.
We are also planning a New Years retreat, two nights starting December 30th, 7pm, ending on January 1st after breakfast.
